Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Informatics (PGDHI)

To develop a capability in the area of healthcare informatics, learn the technologies & skills required for issues involved in aggregation & analysis of information regarding various factors related to healthcare. This programme will train the students to be able to apply appropriate techniques to solve problems in vaqrious application areas in healthcare informatics.

II.Over and above the sanctioned intake:
- Kashmiri Migrants - 2 seats.

MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, MD/MS, Graduate from Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Technology, Engineering or equivalent as decided by competent authority.
Selection based on marks in Qualifying Examination followed by personal interaction.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
The medium of instruction for all the courses shall be English.

How To Apply
Admission Procedure for PGDHI:
STEP I: Online registration to PGDHI: Complete the online registration by filling the online registration form and making online payment of registration charges. Registration charges are Rs.1250/-
STEP II: You will be called for Entrance Exam & PI-WAT ( personal interview and written ability test)
STEP III: Selection will be intimated to candidate through email.
STEP IV: Admission process will be completed after the verification of all the submitted documents and payment of 1st instalment of academic fees.
All internal courses will have 100% component as internal evaluation at the institute level. All external courses will have 40% internal component and 60% external component [University] examination.
STANDARD OF PASSING
The assessment of the student for each examination is done, based on relative performance. Maximum Grade Point (GP) is 10 corresponding to O (Outstanding). For all courses, a student is required to pass both internal and external examination separately with a minimum Grade Point of 4 corresponding to Grade P. Students securing less than 40% absolute marks in each head of passing will be declared FAIL. The University awards a degree to the student who has achieved a minimum CGPA of 4 out of maximum of 10 CGPA for the programme.
AWARD OF DEGREE
Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Informatics
will be awarded at the end of semester II examination by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examinations after obtaining minimum 4.00 CGPA out of 10 CGPA.
